The Truth about your Boss

I remember the first time I realized that my boss was making it up as he went, and that’s when I realized that I could do this too.

I used to think that my managers had some superpower that made them good at their jobs or information that I didn’t have and that’s why I wasn’t ready to step up into a bigger role.

And maybe it sounds careless. Of course, there’s certain things that you need to do and deliver, but what I had thought before was solid and sure, disappeared into thin air right in front of my eyes.

This is important because many of us hold back because we think we’re doing it wrong. And when we think we’re doing it wrong, we often don’t even try or assume we can’t.

Being a leader is so much about being willing to do things with one eye closed (sometimes), and deeply trusting that you will know what to do when the next moment comes. Life becomes '“just writing one more sentence” or “making one more decision” and one day you’ve written a book or created a masterpiece, probably both.

This is the essence of what the yogis mean when they talk about “being present.” It’s quite joyful and not riddled with stress and anxiety the way we’ve become used to operating.

If you’d like to operate with a new system, one that is joyful, productive and effective, send a message to me on the “Contact” page to set up your free consultation call to find out if this work is right for you.
